Cale Merrill

President

Cale is a Risk Management graduate of the Mississippi State University.  He earned his Masters of Business Administration at William Carey Tradition campus.  He has been on the coast for most of his life and considers it home.  He has been an independent agent since 2015.  He is the current president of the Independent Insurance Agents of the Gulf Coast and Board Member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Mississippi as well as the IIAM Young Agents Committee and Coast Young Professionals.  He is also an advisor for the MGCCC Marketing Technology department.  Cale resides in Gulfport with his wife, Nikki Merrill, and two kids Hayes and Mason.  He spends his free time attending Mississippi State sports and fishing nd hunting as often as possible.

Ellen Taylor

Ellen is a Gulf Coast native and resides in Gulfport with her husband, Preston and her sons, Wells and Hardy.  Prior to joining United Risk Agency, Ellen was a paralegal for an insurance defense firm.  Ellen is a life member of Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport and is an active member of Kiwanis Club of Gulfport and St. James Catholic Church.  Ellen enjoys playing tennis, cooking, boating, and spending time with her family.

Hello, my name is Renee Caranna, and I am an independent insurance agent with United Risk Agency. I became an insurance agent because I wanted to help people navigate tricky policies and provide my clients with peace of mind. Kevin Martinez has been working at United Risk Agency since September of 2021. He graduated from Biloxi High School in 2017 and Hinds Community College in 2019, where he played soccer. He then transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated with a major in Secondary Education, and a minor in Spanish. Hobbies include going to the gym and watching and playing soccer.

Thomas is customer service Representative and inspections team member for United Risk Agency . He earned his degree from Mississippi State University in Starkville Mississippi in the year of 2021. Thomas is a native of Baton Rouge Louisiana he currently lives in Gulfport Mississippi. Thomas has been in the insurance industry for two years now from learning much as he can on the homeowners and auto side. He spends his free time going to Biloxi Shuckers game, going on trips.
